    For members attending the ICMA conference, the annual TCMA Monday night reception will be held at Phillips Seafood, 601 E. Pratt Street, located in the heart of Baltimore's Inner Harbor. 


    The restaurant is located in easy walking distance of conference hotels and there is much to see and do in the harbor area pre- and post-event  TCMA has reserved the main dining room that will be set with high-top tables and private bar.  The event will start at 6:00 p.m. and will end by 9:00 p.m.


    Maryland is famous for its crabs, and Phillips Seafood is Baltimore's premiere restaurant for award-winning crab cakes.  Come enjoy the crab cakes and a great selection of hot and cold appetizers & hors d'oeuvres, plus an open bar. Spouses & significant partners of TCMA members are welcome.

    Fall conference registration is now open.  Registration is now open for the Fall 2018 Conference on October 31 - November 2 in Chattanooga.  This conference provides an outstanding opportunity to enhance your knowledge and skills for continued success in municipal management while providing a setting to professionally network with other managers and sponsors in attendance.  Beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday and ending at Noon on Friday, there will be 2 1/2 days of educational programs and networking opportunities.  The conference registration desk will open on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. EDT.

    The conference will be held at the Chattanooga Marriott Downtown, Two Carter Plaza, which is centrally located in the heart of the bustling business and entertainment district. The TCMA hotel rate is $120.00 per night and includes a breakfast buffet for one each morning and complimentary wireless Internet in guestrooms, meeting space, and public areas.  Parking is available at $11.00 (self) and $15.00 (valet).


    New members and students interested in a career in municipal government.  An opportunity will be provided on Wednesday during the lunch hour to network in a small group setting with a seasoned city manager where you can talk informally, ask questions, and develop new contacts in the profession. Please note on your registration form if you are interested in participating or leading a group.
      
    Spouses/partners are encouraged to attend. There is no fee for member spouses/partners to participate in the conference, with the exception of the Thursday luncheon at a cost of $20.00. 

    Wednesday night social event.  The Wednesday night social event will be held at  the Southside Social Club, a family-friendly boutique bowling alley, restaurant, and bar.  In addition to bowling, Southside Social offers indoor gaming areas including billiards, darts, ping pong, shuffleboard and more.  The venue has an outdoor courtyard with fire pits, horseshoes, and cornhole.  Come and enjoy food and beverages with your friends from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

    TCMA Wednesday Night Social Event

    On Wednesday night from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., conference attendees will have the opportunity to gather with other members and sponsors at the Southside Social Club, 1818 Chestnut.  TCMA has reserved the upstairs dining room, billiard room, dart room, and several bowling lanes to keep you entertained while you enjoy a heavy dose of appetizers, entrees, sides and dessert.  Other activities scattered indoors and outdoors to test your skills are skeeball, Foosball, shuffleboard, ping pong, cornhole, and giant Jenga.


    Two tickets are included in the ticket price redeemable for beer or wine, and a non-alcoholic beverage option is also available.  The venue is a short, 14-minute walk from the conference hotel, and ample parking is available for those that prefer to drive.  Additional beer, wine, and alcohol purchases are available at a cash bar.


    Tickets are available until October 24.  A Deluxe Ticket, which includes beer/wine, is available for $24.00 per person.  A Regular Ticket (non-alcoholic beverages only) is available for $19.00.

    In order to properly size the event, you must register online in advance - tickets will not be available after the deadline has passed.


    You may pay by credit card or check.  If paying by check, please send it to TCMA, P.O. Box 191, Columbia TN 38402.  Include a copy of your invoice if mailed.
