October 29-31, 2014
Gatlinburg, Tennessee
Attendees will experience 2 1/2 days of educational programs covering a wide range of timely subjects. All sessions are targeted to the needs of professional local government administrators in the State of Tennessee.
The TCMA Conference will be held in the Mills Conference Center which is located on the east side of Gatlinburg Convention Center, 234 Historic Nature Trail. The conference hotels are a relatively easy 1/2 mile walk, mostly through the Convention Center itself. However if you need to drive, paid parking is available next door at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
The conference programs will begin promptly at 9:30 PM (Eastern) on Wednesday with a special morning session targeted at economic development. The regular conference programs will begin at 1:00 PM. Early registration and conference packets will be available for attendees beginning at 9:00 AM.
Will it be all work at this conference? While we definitely plan to work you hard, there will be a fun event too! On Thursday afternoon, October 30, from 3:00 - 6:30 PM, we will have a membership networking and fund raising event for 2019 ICMA Annual Conference in Nashville. TCMA will have exclusive use of the Davy Crockett Mini-Golf Course for an afternoon of competitive "putt-putt" with a cookout afterwards. Everyone can play putt-putt! Spouses or partners are welcomed to attend. More details on the event and registration will be addressed in a follow up communication.
Cancellations - No registrations will be refunded for requests received after Monday, October 20, 2014. Any request must be made by email sent to Mike Walker - Walker@TNCMA.org.
